Bob's passion for blowing glass started in River Falls, WI, in the 1980s. Taking some time off for life adjustments, he recently resurfaced through the opportunities that Vandalia Glassworks has offered. He finds inspiration through his love of Lake Superior and all the lake’s treasures found on its shores by tailoring his blown glass vessels to fit the driftwood nests built. Bob and his wife, painter Monica McGarry Jones, bring a unique balance between the colors and materials, which often become whimsical by the sheer nature of their playfulness.
