Sold work will be available for pickup after May 1st.
Artist: Jen Koecher
Jen started blowing glass at University of Wisconsin—River Falls where she achieved a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She blew glass on and off for the next 10 years as a creative outlet while trying out many different career paths. Jen has been Studio Manager and Instructor at Vandalia Glassworks since 2018. Also in 2018, she started training as a pilot, and is now commercially rated and is also a certified flight instructor. Jen appreciates the intensity and immediacy of glass. She loves how glass teaches detachment and how it forces one to be in the moment while they are working with the material. She finds the process to a beautiful metaphor for life practices.
