This bowl was made with a triple incalmo of gold/black/pink, where three bubbles of differing colours are "grafted" together. The singular bubble is then decorated with blown bit applications which are sculpted to form spiked appendages. This method of blowing through the wall of the vessel is inspired by medieval "Waldglass" with its expressive bit work and fanciful forms.
